Fuck yeah, hitchhiking

Hitchhiking. Its something of a weird nature. Many people use it every day to get to and fro, others piss themselves just thinking about it.

I use it for getting to and home from work. Nothing too fancy. Although I’m going to take it with me, and experience everything I can in my no doubt short life. Soon I will be hitchhiking across America, seeing all there is to see. Diving into cultures and experiencing things that will completely alter and shape my perception on the world.

Still, it doesn’t excite me too much. No, what I’m after is much bigger. Much broader. A full journey doesn’t stop at coastlines and country borders. There is a whole world out there, and I’m going to see it. 

My goal? Explore and understand more about the world. Not from a book, or from Youtube Videos, or from the words of others; see it with my own eyes and mind. Smell the smells, taste the foods, laugh with the people, and develop myself into the kind of person I want to be.

This is my plan. I understand the risks and I’m willing to sacrifice my life in search of this. To lead a short, exciting life is preferable than a long, dull life. This is my blog. My memory will fail me, so this will become my written record. My photo album. My life Storey.
